Happy New Year Everyone!

The National Parrot Rescue and Preservation Foundation's Raffle/Auction Committee has begun preparations for this year's auction and raffle. So far it promises to be bigger and better than ever. In an effort to improve logistics and become more efficient in our efforts, we are requesting your help.

Words can not express how much we appreciate all of your donations year after year.

We appreciate all of your donations, but those that come at the last minute make our jobs behind the scenes somewhat hectic and slows things down. If you are planning to bring an item to the raffle/auction it would help us greatly if you would drop us an email with a description of the item and perhaps a picture. This way the clerical work that goes into keeping track of the donations would make our life a little easier. You can still bring the donation with you to Parrot Festival. NPRPF is run completely by volunteers and the little things that you can do prior to Parrot Festival will help.

Our volunteers are skilled in knowing where to place the items for the best benefit for our Rescue Birds, therefore we ask that you understand that we have placed your item in the best possible area. It could be live or silent auction or daily or three day raffle.

A form is attached to give you some idea what kind of information that we need for your donation. We want to be sure to advertise the item correctly and to give you, the donator, credit where credit is due. By knowing more in advance we are also able to thank you publically in the program guide.

You are still welcome to bring your donated items with you to Festival, however if we have not received prior notification, the item may be set aside for next year or another event. You can send your descriptions and/or photos of donations to
