I am a forty-something wild caught Red-lored Amazon. I lived with my original mom until she passed away and then lived with her granddaughter for six years until she heard about NPRPF. She gave me to NPRPF in September of ’05 so they could find someone with a big heart and lots of time to share with me. I am very shy and wary of people till I get to know you but I do like to have my head scratched. I must have experienced a bad fall sometime in my life ( I think when I was a baby) and this left me with a scissor-beak and a loose wing-joint that causes some balance problems.
I really love living in a home with other birds, I don’t care what kind, all the bird sounds and activity makes me very excited and happy. I would love to find a home like that if you think you have room and time for me. I’m a good eater, like to shower, and most of the time I’m very quiet and well-behaved. |
